i have no idea what to say.

many many new siblings in just 3 months..... somebody's being super productive =) i have a xiao mei and 2 dai gors in my class. though some ppl say one of my dai gors looks like a baby =/ then the other dai gor got wife liao. incidentally also in the class. XD

hmms then in band i have 3 sisters and a super dua hunky gor -.- yeah and 2 uncles, a mom, and a grandfather also. diaooo.

should i name names? nah.

class guys all starting to play com games liao. miki returned to dota after a long hiatus, and now we're thinking of starting utopia too. richard's halfling shepherd lol XD and he still wants to be an attacker la. jokes. we should all start new accounts and start hitting mervin. see how long it takes for him to die. though probably one of us will die first la

oh yeah. 3rd class outing after science centre and miki's house..... organised by wei liang. so on sia =) we passed a piece of paper around with the details on it, and willy's handwriting was so bad that "outing on sunday" looked like "dating on sunday" -.- lol so we got a laugh out of that.

after sch today we had time to kill so we went to lt4 again.... lol that place is free aircon and mike la. and it's always empty. spent time playing bridge and hide-and-seek (yeah. hide and seek ^^) before getting chased out of the LT by some bio teacher. oh but i was outside playing hide and seek at that time anyway. learned that eugene is damn blind XD took so long to find us all lor. even though we were all hiding on the same floor. 900 degrees each eye right. lol.

left at 4 for electone lesson. ayuraa =) much <3. must get andoh's cds soon. miss wong promised them next week. can't wait. another 12-15 good songs for my playlist XD

first band prac after so long... im so out of touch i almost broke the timpani skin on the first stroke =/ but i got my lao po (er wife) back! finally. there's nothing like the feel of your own drumsticks. *muses* it feels good to know where all your dearest friends are, and what they're doing, at any one point in time. and it's really nice when people message u just to tell u they will be there, or won't be, even if they don't need to. you know who you are. thanks. was walking home today, crossing the overhead bridge, when a raindrop fell on my eye. i walked a few steps more and another fell on the same eye. *squints at sky* u trying to tell me something?

our class should go out and do more stuff. not just sit talk and uh play bridge. =) j1 year is short yeah? we should make the most of it.

maggi mee.

today pj was going around with a maggi container asking ppl if they would "maggi mee" -.- one person actually told her to wait 3 minutes. LOL. oh and her proposal to muthu was special cos she actually got down on her KNEES to do it..... there's a pic but i don't want it. refer to mervin's or eugene's blog, located on the far right.

and i finally got a new electone song! ayura by yoshihiro andoh. it rocks. damn nice harmony, SUPER nice sound. the only thing is i can't play the sound on EL900 >< ahhh have to wait another whole week before i can play it again. sux. at least im getting andoh's cds next week so i can listen to them anytime. but there's still nothing like actually playing the song for yourself. there are 3 kinds of pleasure when it comes to music: composing, playing and listening. i've indulged in the latter 2 and had a taste of composing.... still prefer playing above all. i mean, it's nice listening to a nice song and all, but there's really nothing like playing it or singing it for yourself. and experimenting with sounds and chords and melodies is kinda nice too, but chances are you probably won't like the end result - a result of having spent too much time on the song already. (read: sian of the song.) i'll rather play nice songs that other people have composed.

speaking of which, i have to expand my range. guitar next on my list after i improve harmoc and drumming. go me.

oh and thank you yinrui! been deprived of drumsticks for the better part of a week... i didn't know how much i missed them until i borrowed yours today. yup expect to see them bent and broken when u get them back ^^ (wo ai bu shi shou) thanks again!

lately i've been developing an evil streak. heh. spent so much time teasing pj, wen hao, sabby and eugene today.... but they're good sports la. all in fun right? =) spending way too much time in school. today after a wasted trip to the mep room i went to the canteen to find our 2 couples in the canteen... sweet. so we sat down, walked around and talked cock for a long longg while (abt 2 1/2 hours i think). sabby kept saying it was damn late... but somehow couldn't leave. heh magnetic personalities abound in our class la.

anyway we carried out an experiment, won't go into details but it was damn scandalous... then wen hao went off and pj got a "prank" call. =) lol. bunch of us, sabby eugene me and nandita went with pj to the staff room to check out the prank call. turns out it wasn't a prank call at all. (hey that rhymes) just that her teacher in charge is damn, uh, weird =/ yup. lift screwed up for eugene and gang..... lucky i take stairs lol. going down they learned their lesson and walked with me =) left my mark on the school (specifically on the walls) and then went back to the canteen. took a walk around scenic rj grounds, stopping at the old bridge tables, then went 1 big round back to the canteen. yup then we left. 2 1/2 hours of laughter is food for the soul.

oh just realised that i'm getting more hardworking liao. spent 2 hours on maths last night, then today spent phys and maths lectures actually doing phys and maths instead of sleeping oO well granted i wasn't listening. but at least i was doing examples. i think doing examples ahead of time is really more productive then listening and then having to copy answers.

yesterday, in one word, was FUN. haven't had so much fun in ages..... met at city hall mrt at 12. for some reason almost every guy's hair was screwed up in some way. only shaun and zhu feng's were flat lol. but then shaun kept on touching and adjusting his hair. quite funny.

lunch at bk (nana came by to say hi), and then we went pooling til about 3. i have a fantastic chip shot =) yup then szemin and mel joined us and it was off to kbox for 4 hours straight of singing.... quite siao but super fun ^^ mel and yiheng can SING. mel's voice is like super powerful and damn wide range and yiheng is super in tune. 佩服佩服. i think i can place myself third la. not very good, but decent =) for the girls it was venetia and szemin who really sang damn well..... and enyi was super on. lol. and we played cards halfway through cos we were abit bored of waiting to sing. and alot of those chinese songs we don't recognise wan. must start expanding my range i guess.

yup. my first trip to kbox in a nutshell. super fun. but must be more 大胆 (da dan) also la. shaun zack and zhu damn shy lol. must be more thick-skinned la. jc life's for building courage.

sometimes it's the small things that really make a person's day.

i was on the bus, on my way to teck whye. just as i was reaching my stop, i found that i had trouble pressing for the bell. both (buttons?) on my left and right were spoiled. then out of nowhere an nj girl sitting behind me pressed the bell. i knew that it was for me 'cos she only just got onto the bus. yup. small kindnesses like this really make my day. so with a smile and a quick 'thanks', i disembarked feeling moderately happier with the world.

and you know what's worse than having long hair? having uber-short hair. my hairrr............ grow back soon k? i miss u ><

class outing was a low-key, chill-out kind of affair.... miki's house is nice. or rather his living room is nice cos i didn't get to see much of it..... and it's super accessible. at least for me =) yar and miki and his parents kindly provided a LOT of food for us. thanks a lot yeah. and get well soon dude.

sigh. suffering from post-concert blues. Play '06 is over... last 2 days have been really really fun. and being my first concert in RJCSB, it's really quite different from what i've been used to. for one thing, we're less manual now when it comes to moving instruments. back in RIMB we used to heck care and carry everything by hand, but now we first thing look for trolley =) lol. and now i'm actually writing notes and stuff. and im damn lousy at it.

oh ya, and i found out that my seniors are DAMN gossipy yesterday night >< i have absolutely nothing to say.

still think the first run was a lot better than the 2nd... by friday we were all really sian already. on the other hand, at least we had more time to take pics and write notes and stuff. and i have a bandana and lots of pics to remember Play '06 by...

really some bomb week. last 2 days i got back home so late that i didn't have time to blog..... so this will be another long long entry. lolz.

monday was games and stuff til 4. nothing eventful really happened except that bong, zheng feng, yao zhen, candera, aster and shaun (our new guy) owned captain's ball and basketball. watching yao zhen and shaun play is damn scary. their teamwork is damn nice. after o2 day 1 ended we celebrated grace's bdae... she actually thought that the whole 20+ of us forgot her birthday! lol grace. have more faith in your friends sia =) and a belated happy birthday to u.

after that we had more perc ensemble prac. won't bother u with the details, except to say that we are good. u'll be hearing from us soon. and i agree with nana: perc section is totally utterly insane XD <3 my section.

tuesday was batchgive, which was significantly more fun than o2 day 1. we went out to some place in commonwealth, right beside new town primary. shaun wasn't there, so it was the original group of us again. my group consisted of zheng feng, qiu si and tian hui. we were actually one of the luckier groups cos out of 5 of us, 2 groups' families weren't at home and 1 got chased away because the woman "had to work". the family we visited were really accomadating. the wife invited us in and we spent about 1 1/2 hours just talking about her condition. as it turns out, the father has diabetes and has to inject twice a day, so he can't really work, and the wife can't either because she isn't a PR (no income = no granting of PR status). but they're doing quite fine i think. they get help from many sectors, the CDC, the church, the temple, new town primary... and the wife has hopes of sending her 4 daughters to commonwealth or (some not bad sch that i can't remember) in the future. so they seem pretty ok. simple house, with neccessities but few luxuries. at least they have TV. won't die of boredom halfway. that would be a total waste.

after batchgive we went back to sch.... pangseied my OG and went out with my class for dinner. did a synchronised eating thing, then talked cock a bit and went to the playground. the girls played on the stegosaurus and the spin thingy while singing songs =) we were having fun watching them haha. i left early to go home and do work.... but u know me la. did some, then fell asleep. nvm im happy. at least i did some. didn't die horribly.

new guy in our class - wei liang..... quite nice la. his class in CJ was damn mad. pon every single tutorial and lecture to go and play bridge. and everyday go out class outing. lol crazy lar. makes RJ seem so tame =/ oh well. im happy here so it doesn't matter. endured 5 hours straight of lessons before (finally) going for lunch and then meeting my section to spray pails. yeah. spray pails. sad right >< but nvm we witnessed a new scandal: after folding program booklets, everyone started moving off in groups, and jeff and jiaying were the only 2 to leave together. just the 2 of them. quite a weird couple if u ask me. jeff all bluff and bluster(sp.?), jiaying all noise. awaiting developments heh.

that's about all that i have to say. did anyone actually read all the way til here? if so, im impressed. heh. and i have this uncomfortable feeling that my seniors are trying to set me up with someone.... just for the record, we're NOT attached. we're just gd friends ok? yup that's it. ciao ppl

band prac today was good. really good. yesterday i was quite depressed and all, seeing how we sucked and how i screwed up..... but today cheered me up. i really think we're ready for play now. in case we're not, there's another prac on monday! lol we're mad. but proud of it =)

next week's going to be some crazy week. oxygen for the first 2 days, batchgive, then concert on thursday and friday. never had a 2-day run before.... should be quite interesting. but then there's the problem of burnout. well we'll see la. washing machine going to go into overdrive on thursday night. why can't we have 2 different stage uniforms on 2 different days? so wuliao

i just realised my life is quite sad. it revolves around band, school and dota. with occasional drumming (can i even call it drumming? i just whack stuff) and electone playing. i should go talk to someone.

damn tiring day. band prac til 8+, then stayed back for perc ensemble prac. as a result, we missed batch dinner again =/ then as fate would have it, just as we finished eating and were on our way home we met the rest of our batch on the way out >< ok la. fate suan us la.

oh yeah. before that. i realised i spent 3 hours playing colours and talking cock with my class today. woot. my class damn funny..... we're making up all kinds of new scandals. now there's a s-e, s-s, s-c, and w-c (no names please. u know who this is. or at least those that should know will know). there are others too but they're too insignificant to be placed here =)

and there are alliances everywhere lol. poor pj got backstabbed by all her alliance members...... nvm i know my teammate is loyal =) we'll own all of u. just wait.

alright. looking back on the entries that i've written before, i realised that a lot of my entries don't make sense. so i'll try to write a more coherent one today.

yesterday was some bomb day. we had band prac until damn late, around 7+ 8 like that. Moving instrus all the way back to the RI band room ate up a lot of time... and percs were the only ones doing that cos everybody else had gone off liao. apologies to yang bin, lester, richard, patrick, and anybody else who was still in the varese (sp?) room when we were leaving... thanks for waiting yeah. and to my batch: uall went for batch dinner and pangsei us >< wha lau.

nothing really eventful happened today... except that we bullied purnima a lot. feel so evil lol. but woo han even more evil. took advantage of pj's naive nature =) pj don't worry... u'll get it soon. just don't think too much about it, look woo han in the eyes when he talks to you, and the answer should come to you naturally XD

tmr maths test. shall go study soon... and tmr we'll know whether christina, sun lu and vaish will be staying in our class. really hope they will..... fun people. to say the least.

yup. today somehow i feel reflective..... looking back at my secondary school life, i realised that i really just breezed through it without really involving myself, immersing myself in school culture. de guo qie guo liddat. well i can't turn back time, and i do have my good memories of the place: late nights in school, early morning soccers, time spent with the band and the band ppl... i have my good friends, zhu feng, gerard, zihan, zackary, faii... my section mates.... i'm blessed enough already. =)

but something's different in rj. something's changed. maybe i'm growing up or something. maybe it's the impending NS that's coming in 2 years time. maybe i want to really enjoy the time i have left as a teenager before i really have to think about things as a "young adult". maybe it's time i really got involved.
