too many things happening finally prompted me to blog. i'll talk about stuff in chronological order.
syf: well. we got gold. i'm a bit uncomfortable to blog about this any further. suffice to say that we could have done much better on this, our last syf =( went for guitar concert the friday after syf... it was really quite lousy, but hey, seeing that they had only 2 weeks of practice, it was okay lar. storyline was damn cheesy though. the way they fit the songs into the story was just -___-" but slacking around on the parade square after the concert made up for it. heh. RJC-EDB challenge was a crazy 2 weeks of sleepless nights, endless arguing, and alot of brainpower usage. 3 days of piahing got us through the preliminaries, while our refinement and ironing out of our idea yielded dividends on an imba thursday as we clinched an unlikely 1st prize in the final presentation. rushing to the National Stadium we caught the first and only goal by bowen, and caught the 2nd half of a very exciting, heart-pumping soccer match. that day saw the soccer, hockey, girl's and guy's badminton, and girl's bowling teams clinch gold in their respective finals all around singapore. the concluding of this week also marked the finishing of a truly spectacular week of finals, one of the most RJ has had in the recent years (we had 10 finals altogether this week). imba. gj to all our sportsmen and women! after the match we all walked from the stadium to Suntec to eat dinner. crazy -___-" and then.... tmr will be band investiture. we're handing over le. 6 years of band went by in a flash. looking back, i'm actually quite saddened to say that i never really appreciated band, nor put in the effort i should have, till i came to JC. which means that for the first 4 years i was drifting, focusing on strokes, not caring about my place and role in the band. but the last 2 years have been really great, and unforgettable; i'll miss all the band pracs in the band room, our crazy section (both the 05/06 and 06/07 ones), and all the headaches and happiness that band brought me. the last time wearing band u tmr... though the uniform was never the point anyway. sigh. all good things must come to an end. must treasure the memories =) "I love perc, we're a damn unique section. pokepoke-"
