hm. learning isn't half as fun without nice songs to play.
suggest songs people? wow. haven't blogged for so caoji long. a lot's been happening: last day of school on thursday, class outing friday, and various happenings after that. it seems like i'm going to have a busy and fulfilling holiday heh.
on thursday after school we stayed back to celebrate cherie's birthday. happy b'day yeah =) not that you'll see this. after that we alternated between playing bridge and juggling the ball and drinking lemon tea for awhile while other people were busy playing uno stacko and (afterwards) stacking dominoes =) heh i came by in time to see the 6F one which fell nicely after... what 12 takes? ... but the heart was a total failure. lol there's a video of it for all who missed it. after watching it i realised that our fooling around with the soccer ball was being filmed too -.- person with video camera obviously takder kejer lain. lol. friday class outing...... due to various estimated arrival times *coughwillycough* nandita and i were the first to arrive. so we played speed for a while til everybody came and then we started bridging =) well what did you expect? heh. finally reached sentosa at 12 and went straight to siloso beach for volleyball... credit goes to our pro photographer sun lu and our various video enthusiasts xy and nandita i believe for the videos and pics =) more on that later. anyway that hour that we played volleyball was the hottest. after that the sun disappeared and the weather became perfect for playing volleyball.... just in time for us to stop playing. -.- so we followed woo han and sun lu and went swimming! haha. well some people got dunked, some people went willingly, while others still got arrested =) and everyone got sunburned. just have to look in the band room the next day and you'll see three conspicuously red people =) the water was damn salty though. quite sick. after we swam out to the outlying islet we lay in the shallow water playing with mud balls and watching 2 people on the jetty talking. ahem wonder who ah? =) give you a hint:  lol anyway yiwen's mud balls were the nicest... looked like ice cream as pj said! haha. 不亏是 art club 的... passed the ball around for awhile polo-style and then swam back. that was when mr lai came =) wearing the 6F shirt too. haha that was good. too bad he had to leave almost immediately. but we did get to take a nice photo or two to remember that moment by =) 2 ppl were almost late cos 1 person couldn't float -.- for that person's privacy i shall not mention names here. heh. ok then lunch happened and our class split to do what we always do: sit around and talk. lol. wen hao, nandita, pj, yiwen, woo han and i talked over pomelo, eugene, mervin, willy and shi jun over bridge, and sabby, xy, zhen and priscilla while lying on the beach. after awhile we had the bright idea to go look for sabby xy zhen and pris and so we climbed onto this structure to look around. some other people had a even brighter idea to throw soccer ball and volleyball at us to knock us down -.- but nothing happened lar due to bad aim and good catching skills. lol. and then mervin found the girls and somehow we all migrated there.... watched people dig a hole for pj to live in =) , then watched as nandita went in too. er after pj vacated it that is. yiwen was sitting and painting the sunset all the while. end result was quite nice heh. some people left after that... u guys missed quite a lot heh. there was a bit of a drama at the pagodas past the bridge (see sabby's blog for details), and while that was going on, there was even more drama at the beach where 4 certain people were bridging. heh woo han and wen hao damn sad case... and we have the videos to prove it =) how many forfeits did uall do ah. 5 right. XD yup then after that we had dinner at vivocity. met richard on the way (he was at vivocity too) and learnt something about guys' decision-making processes =) lol. and then we went home. still eagerly awaiting the pics and the videos =) memories ahh. oh yes forgot to mention. after lunch, sitting at the beachside table, we were chatting about old times for awhile... things that happened before willy came, at the start of the year, during and after our very first class outing to the science centre. made me feel really old. one year has passed, just like that. and now i have about 3 songs running through my head... technology, the perc ensemble piece that we played for fun on sat, the song that mr lai played at his farewell, 放心去飞 , and the immortal That Thing You Do =) ahh feeling good now. time to eat dinner. ciao. [edit] according to mervin: "ok at least some ppl decided to go swim. the rest simply got pushed/pulled/thrown/dropped/chased or forced into the sea by any other means. and when we're swimming we get sunburnt." lol! and lol i forgot to mention. spotlight wen hao! first he got dunked, then he got his bag stolen by pj (not that he really cared anyway cos there was nothing in it. lol), and lastly he got owned during bridge forfeits, as mentioned earlier. and by some strange coincidence we ate the same thing for both lunch and dinner. oh wells. more input from pj: "hee hee...and wen hao proposed to Priscilla baby! HEHEHEHEHEHEHE…and this is wat happened… wen hao: will u marry me? Priscilla: (pours sand on wen hao symbolizing…”U FOOL! DO U NEED TO ASK ME THAT?”) HEHEHEHEHEHEHE…damn romantic! Hopefully I can watch the video and laugh my head off…" [/edit] my mistake, it isn't a few weeks. it isn't even a week. there's only a single day left.
it's quite scary how people behave when they're sad. the normally very talkative people become uncannily quiet, while the normally quiet people start to babble and talk a lot. just check the blogs and you'll see what i mean. oh wells it's late. tmr faster come........ i want my guitar =) sigh i so much wanted to cry but the tears won't come... i guess cos i already knew about it beforehand so i was already prepared for it, but still... today mr darren lai said goodbye to our class. he won't be with us next year. there goes another good teacher, out of our lives, before our time is up. all i can ask is...why?
to mr lai: thank you for being the funniest, most caring and the best damn chem tutor we've ever had =) the guitar playing wasn't bad either. though it was kind of obvious that you were out of practice heh. we will miss you. and yes, u raise us up, to more than we can be. thank you. some pics.  mr lai the family man.   our class, with mr lai on teacher's day. that's him holding up the 6F shirt. memories. well, there's still a few weeks left. better treasure them while they last. hm just finished playing some of my older songs... first love and colours of the wind. classic =) sigh old songs are the best. that thing you do isn't bad either =)
i just remembered, im supposed to get some games from some people. must remember. neverwinter nights all the time quite boring. and my posts are getting more and more random -.- [edit] lol i've been looping That Thing You Do. addicted liao >< [/edit] wah crap. i think of PW and i literally want to puke -.- but have to do it lar. sigh.
recovery is slow but steady; i credit the.... about 14+ hours of sleep i've been getting each day. lolz. don't look at me like that. i wake up early k! on sat i woke at 6 and today at 9. which is quite amazing for me k. my birthday's coming soon. hahaha. wish i could say that i've been doing a lot.... but actually all i've been doing is sleeping =/ learnt some things about some people though. a bunch of people (nivrem, wehttam, allicsirp, jp, ylliw i believe. names spelled backwards to protect their identities) who talked about ponning CO -.- and something else that i dun want to talk about. but maybe im just being oversensitive, i dunno. okay i better stop stoning and get to work. see you. speaking of promos. shall not post my results here, but suffice to say, i'm happy about my improvement =) haha there's nothing like the reward after long periods of hard work. hope that i can maintain this momentum over the next year. go me. and i just heard some really bad news. i can only hope that it's not true.... but then my class would kill me. lolz. whatever lah as long as it's not true anything also can. if not our class morale would drop like by 100% -.- nvm DUN TALK ABOUT IT. hmm the ghost detective show that just started playing on channel U is quite interesting..... i might actually start watching TV again. heh. too bad it's at 11 pm but then, it's after promos right?
i think i wasted time again today. still have to do physics, hair, electone, clean my table and other stuff. still haven't done any of it. sigh what's wrong with me lor >< bored. as usual. nvm got soccer tmr.
i need new songs >< [edit] decided that this post was too boring so.... better add some stuff. come to think of it, there's a lot of things i need to do but am not doing. 1. play electone (performance coming up. again) 2. do physics (grrr) 3. cut hair 4. clean my table(s) 5. get a new battery for my desk clock (which is buried under tons of stuff anyway) 6. go library 7. go swee lee and get stuff 8. mug chem -.- so why am i not doing? cos i lazy. sian... no one online now maybe i can persuade myself to go and clean my table. pls no one come online while im writing this entry... if not this will be another wasted night. [/edit] man. some things are really out of your control. things like love, and fate. the best thing is to grow up, take a mature look at things, learn a lesson and move on. things happen for a reason.

wah can't stand it that song stuck in my head. haha today was open house. fun! performed at the amphi and basked at the booth. was a bit screwed up but hey, no one noticed =) and the perc fest shirt is really nice. sigh why must i return it.... >< heh most memorable were the befriender dance with wen hao and hui zhen (damn cute together. lolz) and getting thrown by richard. haha the guy took it easy on me lar dun look so shocked. still have the "i survived" card that richard made for us last minute XD so cool. heh anyway performance and basking was pretty normal. lack of practice made us screw up but hey, as i mentioned, no one realised so... =P after open house ended we did a bit of PW and then 5 of us went out. me miki wen hao sabby and hui zhen. heh since we're all westers and 157-takers, we went to coro for dinner and then came back to bukit panjang plaza to bowl =) haha so fun not to go to the east this time. miki you should really join us next time. dinner was fish and chips (5 sets) at some ulu trying-to-be-cafe-but-failing place. quite funny the ambience was old, the songs were old, and there was a 关公 and a 福 on the wall =/ some coolio place. haha. okay why am i hahaing so much -.- high liao. my bowling has improved =) haha add on to the list of things to do in the holidays: learn to aim a bowling ball -.- 12 midnight and i'm super tired liao. ciao.

im compiling a list of what i'm going to do in the holidays. being the boliao person i am, im putting it up here. - learn guitar - do some cooking. haven't cooked for damn long liao - cut hair lolz - read - finish my gundam models oh and wishlist: guitar tokyo kosei cds gundam models =) modern fairytales full metal alchemist vcds Spirited Away OST Reiko Kashiwagi's electone book that contains Prelude and Misty Dialogue. fat chance One Piece cards? red jersey yup. as u can probably tell, i'm bored. hmm. the day after the day when u stayed up late and didn't get enough sleep is always kind of fun. slept on the bus today and overshot my stop... and felt high the whole day. apparently i wasn't the only one =) was surprisingly tired on the way home but the moment i did get home i revived again. i quote Murphy's Law.
maybe it's to do with the fact that nothing's happening in school. we're basically going to school to spend time with friends -.- no one's in the mood for lessons, and honestly i think the teachers aren't in the mood to teach seriously either. grr it's that "almost-holiday-but-not-quite" kind of feeling. quite irritating. i seriously want to learn guitar now. you can only go so far with electone, percussion and fooling around with a harmonica. at least a guitar's portable. as soon as i save $100 im going to get a cheap one and start practicing. heh can't wait. according to some of my guitar-playing frens guitar is the easiest instrument to learn, cos you don't need a theory background. all the better for me =) and mmm yeah that's it. tmr's a totally slack day =) let's see what activities our class comes out with. if i know my class it'll probably involve a lot of sitting around and talking =P 昨 天 是 中 秋 节。i tried writing this in chinese but my chinese sucks so... mix and match la
the feeling just isn't the same. spending the time with my family and relatives, i just seem to think that i don't count as a kid any more. 上山提灯笼, 玩蜡烛的时候, 无意中感觉到自己已成熟了。 where once i was noisy and couldn't sit still, now i'm quietly placing and lighting candles and talking to my uncles and cousins. i think part of it has to do with how i haven't seen my extended family together for so long. after we moved away from the end of petir road, we kind of drifted apart, but yeah it's nice to see everyone together again. but there's something else, of course. staring out into the night, with a thousand candles burning, at the same place that i was at some four months ago, i feel like i've come full circle. day to night, child to adult. i'll always treasure the memories, but it's time to let her go. 我已把你的名字刻在我的心上。 将来， 无论发生什么事， 你都会在我心中有个特别的位置。 但此时此刻， 我也该放手了... 就这样吧。 再见 ... zzz there's nothing to blog about. class outing i shall just keep in my head and blog about when i get the pics =)
