the night sky was once full of stars, shining, glittering, illuminating the night with their shimmering glow. once it turned dark, the land was bathed in a warm silver light, cutting through the endless dark. there was never anything to fear, for none of the creatures of the dark dared to venture out into the cleansing, purifying silver night. all was well.

until they came.

spreading baseless rumours of boons given and wishes granted by falling stars, the self-styled Celestes descended upon the land from nowhere and spread like a plague. there were soon countless Celestes spreading rumours in all of the major cities of the world. ordinarily there would have been little fuss; but the Celestes taught how to cause the stars to fall from the sky as well. and so, driven by greed, ambition, and for some, desperation, humans all over the world started to call stars to the earth. with each fallen star, the night sky dimmed; and with each dimming, the humans' spirits started to dim as well. but none could resist the temptation of the boundless power offered, and soon, there were but a handful of stars left in the sky. darkness descended upon the land; and evil, emboldened, roamed freely in the night, terrible in its reign of tyranny...

which is why the night is so dark, and you can't see many stars in Singapore night sky.

haha did i just waste 5 minutes of your time?
