today i spent one hour being the dupree to wen hao and pj. they were playing a blissful game of chess while i watched and irritated them from the sidelines. the 2nd game they played was kind of sweet, with wen hao frequently flattering pj, saying that she was "so clever". pj, in turn, giggled, shyly telling wen hao to "stop it". later, as pj made several bad moves, wen hao gallantly allowed her to take back and try again.
after the game ended, i quietly excused myself as i sensed that pj and wen hao wanted some time alone together. true enough, as i left the classroom, i heard wen hao asking pj to stay, on the pretext of asking her to return some magnet or other that she supposedly took. haha =) the last i heard, pj stayed for as long as she could, til wen hao got concerned for her and her undone homework, and locked her out of the classroom so she could go home. so sweet right XD okay so maybe it didn't exactly happen like that. but u have to admit my version is nicer =) [edit] see pj's blog for more details hahaha [/edit] |
