Woo. Flying off to Vietnam later today with Zhu. I've really been doing a lot lately. This is the lull between two storms and it's quiet, so I thought I'll get in some blogging before I go :)
The last weekend was another really full one. Taiji showcase, cycling/dinner at Changi Village/prawning/supper at Lagoon with 6F classmates (which is always fun, but always delayed by a few hours...), breakfast at Old Town with family, Teo Heng, Toy Story 3... And then there was just a OG outing 2 days ago. Whew. Lunch at The Pasta Shop and then Kbox (singing again!). I have a new favourite song - 如烟. I guess 五月天 can't be all bad if they can produce songs like this :) Oh and Toy Story 3 was good! Genuinely funny in most places and touching in others, it can really bring out the kid in you. Highly recommended. On a side note, it really helps to have friends/a sister who are avid travellers, especially when you're a total noob like myself. Case in point: this trip was planned entirely by Zhu, I'm just tagging along. Likewise, most of the packing list and actual packed items came from my sis. Ah, the life of a slacker :P (just kidding; I'm treating this as a learning experience :) Who knows, maybe this will be the trip that converts me. Haha.) |
