One of the defining differences between uni and JC is that uni is very flexible. It's freeform - you can usually choose what modules you'll like to take, schedule them yourself, and even after everything's fixed, you can not go for lectures and tutorials or go for other slots if you so choose. Similarly, you have to arrange to go for tutorials and lectures together and look for study buddies. There's no such thing as a fixed class anymore. Which is a good thing.

It was so easy to be socially lazy. Knowing that, whatever you do or don't do, you'll still be seeing the same people and hanging out during/after class. You want to have common experiences? Heck, you want to even have friends now? You gotta work for it.

On the bright side, it does make you more sneaky in the way you arrange things and jio people out :) heh.
